The search for a cure and rehabilitation for her husband made her look at the way healthcare is administered with altered eyes. With a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Palo Alto University and a Ph.D. fellowship at Stanford School of Medicine, she ultimately decided to give up her white coat for good, and put her expertise to use as an entrepreneur in the clinical domain instead.
